What is Bridges?
Bridges is a caring group whose desire is to meet some of the needs encountered during a planned or unplanned pregnancy through practical help and emotional support.
Who is the Bridges Program For?
Bridges is for any woman who is either pregnant, or has recently had a baby, and is looking for support, friendship, and assistance.
What does Bridges Offer?
Support. We understand the concerns that come along with pregnancy and being a new mother, and we provide a loving and confidential atmosphere in which you can comfortably share these concerns.
Education. Bridges offers many learning opportunities. Community speakers are invited to share their expertise in topics such as baby and child care, money management, goal setting, healthy relationships and adoption. We are also dedicated to helping you become a better person as well as a better parent through programs that will enhance your skills and help you live responsibly. Christian parenting and Bible study classes are also offered at various times throughout the year.
Blessings Room. New and gently used baby items can be purchased with "Mommy Dollars" that you receive with our "Earn while you learn" program.
Referrals. Our staff is here to help you help yourself, but we can also help you find what you need.
Special Care & Support. This service is available for women considering the loving option of adoption.
Father Factor. Husbands and dads can find the support they need from a Christian dad who has "Been there, Done that." This mentoring program discusses what it means to be a good provider, a good father and a productive member of society.
Beyond Bridges. A post-Bridges program for our graduates that offers continued support and learning opportunities.
At Heartbeat of Fremont, our desire is to take the "Crisis" out of your "Crisis Pregnancy". We care about you and your child and hope that in the months to come our Bridges group can be a blessing to you.
